History & Vision
The Israel Prayer Tower was founded by the late Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, a man of extraordinary faith who received a divine calling to establish a centre of prayer in Jerusalem — the city of God. His vision was to create a place where believers from every nation could come together in continuous intercession for Israel, the nations and the peace of Jerusalem.
On 4 November 2013, that vision became reality when Dr. Paul Dhinakaran inaugurated the Israel Prayer Tower on the 20th floor of City Tower, 34 Ben Yehuda Street, Jerusalem. From this vantage point, intercessors enjoy panoramic views of the Mount of Olives, the Old City, the Temple Mount and the surrounding hills of Jerusalem — a constant reminder of God's promises over this land.
Today the Prayer Tower stands as a living testament to Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran's faith, continuing his legacy under the leadership of Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Mrs. Stella Dhinakaran, with intercessors from more than 20 countries serving in prayer.

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and his wife, Evangeline, have been instrumental in founding prayer centres and towers around the world. Ten years ago, they founded the Israel Prayer Tower (IPT) in Jerusalem.
Dr. Paul is a true visionary, leading intercession and spiritual warfare in many countries. He leads the fruitful Jesus Calls Ministry to the nations from India, and millions of people have received a touch from Almighty God through this servant.
One of the surprising ways God uses Dr. Paul is through powerful prayers for healing and the prophetic word. Therefore, he established the vision of IPT to pray from Jerusalem, interceding for the nations and receiving prophetic words for the people.
Director IPT
In November 2024, Dr. Ben and Yomara Krepostman took over the management of IPT Jerusalem and are developing the vision with joy and satisfaction, because they know that God has raised up this work, and it is a privilege to receive the commission from the founding directors.
